Drs. Chase Beisel and Matt Cooper Have Been Promoted

Effective on August 16th Dr. Chase Beisel has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor and Dr. Matt Cooper has been promoted to the rank of Teaching Associate Professor.

Dr. Beisel has also been selected to receive a 2017 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award from The Camille Dreyfus Foundation. The Award is hyper-competitive and the Award selection criteria set a high standard.

According to the Foundation website, ”The Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program supports the research and teaching careers of talented young faculty in the chemical sciences…… Criteria for selection include an independent body of scholarship attained in the early years of their appointment, and a demonstrated commitment to education, signaling the promise of continuing outstanding to both research and teaching.”
