Amulya grew up in Nashville, TN and graduated with a B.E. in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University in May 2014. The following fall she entered the graduate program at NC State. Her research at NC State involves characterizing and predicting material properties of thermoset polymers. Her research focuses on polyester polyols and seeks to obtain a fundamental understanding of the thermodynamic and transport properties of polyester polyols crosslinked systems through molecular simulation. She is co-advised by Drs. Saad Khan and Erik Santiso.
