Anurodh Tripathi is from Kanpur, India. He did his bachelors in Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) in 2011. Thereafter, he served as a manager in Reliance Industries Limited, Jamnagar, India for 2 years. Anurodh Joined as the PhD student in NC State university under the guidance of Saad Khan and Orlando Rojas in Fall 2013. Currently, he is pursuing dual PhD in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Forest Biomaterials.
Anurodh’s research interests include developing light-weight and functional materials such as aerogels, nanofiber mats and porous substrates utilizing the basic concepts of polymer thermodynamics, interfacial polymer science and cellulose chemistry. Various biodegradable and biocompatible cellulosic and ligno-nanocellulosic derivatives are of subject of study.
