Alum John O’Quinn is the featured speaker at the Dean’s Colloquia on Engineering, Science & Public Policy
Alum John C. O’Quinn (B.S. ’96) is the featured speaker at this year’s Dean’s Colloquia on Engineering, Science & Public Policy. A yearly event hosted by Dean Louis Martin-Vega, the colloquia will be held on Monday, March 25th at the Jane S. McKimmon Center.
While at NCS, John was a Caldwell Scholar, a Benjamin Franklin Scholar, Valedictorian, and Student Body President. An inaugural participant in the Franklin Scholar’s Program, he also earned a B.A. in multidisciplinary studies.
As a Fulbright Scholar, O’Quinn received Master’s degrees from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he received the Fay Diploma in recognition for graduating first in his class. He also served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Mr. O’Quinn is a Partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, a national law firm. His practice focuses on litigation, including intellectual property disputes, commercial matters, regulatory issues, and government investigations.
