Biography

Dr. Charles Jones serves as the Platform and Early Commercial Strategy Lead at Pfizer. In this role he is responsible for evaluating where and how can platform technologies generate value over existing modalities and how their introduction can lead to innovation and/or disruption. Since joining Pfizer in 2019, he has held key roles in Corporate Strategy, Marketing and Commercial Development, and made significant contributions to the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine rollout. Prior to Pfizer, Dr. Jones co-founded a biotech company and consulted on pipeline strategies and product launches as a management consultant. His academic credentials include a B.S and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, a B.S. in Biochemistry, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
