The CBE Schoenborn Research Symposium & Exhibition

The CBE Schoenborn Research Symposium & Exhibition is a showcase for the talent and accomplishments of our graduate students, and is a prime indicator of the overall excellence of our graduate program. The two-day symposium features oral presentations by Ph.D. candidates and power presentations by mid-level and undergraduate students. Representatives from industry, government, and academia attend the symposium.
On Friday, October 18th, participants will be able to attend the following events:
- Coffee Mixer: 9:30 – 10 AM
- Welcome Address: 10 – 10:05 AM
- Keynote Speaker (Dr. Elaine Cohen Hubal, US EPA): 10:05 – 11 AM
- Three Minute Thesis Competition Session I: 11 – 12 PM
- Lunch (if you have previously RSVP’d): 12 – 1 PM
- Three Minute Thesis Competition Session II: 1 – 2 PM
- Young Alumni Panel: Starting Your Career: 2 – 3 PM
- Poster Session II (4th and 5th Year PhD Students): 3 – 5:30 PM
- Closing and Winner Announcement: 5:30 – 6 PM
