Lucille Verster, final year Masters student, successfully defended her MS thesis on “Hydrogel Soft Dendritic Colloids as Active Marine Microplastic Cleaner”. Moving on, she is converting to a full-time PhD student with the Velev group and will be co-advised by Dr Pal from the Department of Forestry and Biomaterials in collaboration with the Non-Wovens Institute. She will be studying microplastic formation from different textiles.
Congratulations Lucille and good luck with your PhD ahead! 🙂
