Abhirup Basu, a second-year graduate student, successfully defended his preliminary oral exam. His presentation was on “Hierarchical Assemblies of Magnetic Nanoparticles Confined in Soft Responsive and Active Microbeads.” With the completion of his exam, he is now officially a PhD candidate!
