Fourth year member Abhirup Basu and third year member Mesbah Ahmed delivered oral talks at the ACS Spring 2024 conference in New Orleans, LA. Abhirup presented his work on assembly of magnetic nanoparticles in confined geometries and additionally presented the “moonwalking” propulsion of magnetic microbeads in non-Newtonian fluids. Meanwhile, Mesbah presented on plasticized biopolymer films as stretchable and biodegradable substrates in soft electronics.
