Saba Taheri and Seong hyeon park (Parker) joined the group as new PhD students!
Saba‘s research focuses on capturing CO₂ from the air for applications in coatings and bioplastics. She will also explore the self-assembly behavior of biomolecular magnetic organic frameworks (BiMOFs) under applied magnetic and electric fields.
Seong hyeon (Parker), co-advised by Dr. Lilian Hsiao and Dr. Saad Khan, aims to develop sustainable colloids for cleansing and foaming formulations. His work involves soft dendritic colloids, their rheological characterization, interactions with surfactants, and foaming behavior.
We look forward to their contributions and wish them both great success in their PhD journeys!
