Group member Abhirup Basu successfully defended his PhD dissertation titled “Magnetic Field-Driven Assembly and Propulsion of Active Colloids Engineered from Anisotropic Nanoparticle Architectures.” During his doctoral studies under the guidance of Prof. Orlin Velev, Abhirup achieved numerous significant milestones through impactful research projects and collaborations with multiple research groups. He also represented the group with distinction at several national and international conferences and symposiums, while mentoring undergraduate and master’s students.
